Video marketing is the most effective form of internet marketing per cost. Learn how to be an expert attracting tons of quality prospects.

Here are some quick tips and guidelines to becoming an expert video marketer. So pay attention all you budding internet entrepreneurs and grab a sheet of paper and a pen and take some notes.

If you have a product, service, or business opportunity to market, then there is no better place to start then video marketing to establish yourself as an authority in your field or niche market. Web pages with embedded video represents over 60% of web pages viewed today, so they are very popular. As human beings, we retain a lot more by what we see and hear than by what we simply read. Now I have other videos explaining the importance of video marketing so I want to keep this one focused on making your videos effective.

Generally, your videos should be between 2 and 4 minutes. Any more than that and you will start to lose the attention of your audience. Obviously, instructional videos and the like are often more than 4 minutes, but you still must pepper those videos with lots of visual content showing something like a product demonstration, or various graphics to break up any monotony.

Recent Youtube statistics showed that the average time spent watching a single video was 3 1/2 minutes. However, then average session time on Youtube was shown to be 25 minutes; therefore, instead of someone getting bored with your long video and moving on to someone else for the remainder of their viewing session, you should keep your video duration between 2 and 4 minutes so they keep clicking on more and more of your content.

If your video requires a call to action, such as in a landing page or squeeze page video, then be sure to follow these four steps when constructing your video script.

First, you must start with a powerful opening, something that includes the problem you are going to solve or advice you are going to give. Something like, "Hi, my name is so and so. I’ve got a very important message for you about how you can fire your boss in 6 months, or whiten your teeth, or get out of debt." Or you can say something like … "You need to stay tuned for the next few minutes, because I’m going to tell you …" You get the idea. People generally do what you tell them to do so don’t forget to tell people up front to pay attention and watch your video (in a more clever, humorous, and inviting way, of course).

The second step is to go into your background or into the background of the issue of product. If you experienced a problem that the topic of your video fixed, then briefly tell that story here. It is very common to get caught up in the story here so be sure to keep this section between 30 and 45 seconds.

The third step in our process to become and expert video marketer is to discuss the solution. You need to sell the hole, not the drill. Did you get that? Sell the outcome, not the details. If you have a home based business opportunity, don’t go into the automated system, replicated web sites, autoresponders, customer support. That’s selling the drill. Instead, focus on spending more time with family, firing the boss, traveling the world, getting free of debt. If you are marketing a product, talk about (and possibly show) the end result. That is why good fitness ads show lots of before and after pictures and video testimonials instead of overloading details of product features. Focusing on details may sell some products, but focusing on stories of transformation using the products not only sells more, but builds brand loyalty.

The fourth and final step is one that is overlooked by nearly all newbies to video marketing and many experts as well, and that is a call to action. Never assume the viewer knows what to do next. Need them to fill in their name and email address in a form below the video? Tell them. Want to invite them to a weekly webinar or teleconference? Invite them. Be short, specific, and clear in your call to action. It should be a simple task anyone can do, like clicking a link or filling our a couple fields in a form. Also be sure to give them only 1 thing to do. Any more and they will not do either.

I hope this information served you well on your path to becoming an expert video marketer. For complete guidance on personal branding through social media marketing, check out my free course at TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com. Cheers to your success.

If you are a sponsor in a direct sales or MLM home business, then share this video with your members when they ask about marketing costs.

When running a home based business that requires sponsoring members, a common question your prospects will ask you is "How much money will I realistically have to spend to run this business?". If this is a question you often hear, or are asking that question yourself, I encourage you to keep watching.

The amount of money you spend on marketing your home based business is inversely proportional to the amount of marketing tasks you would like to automate. A little too technical? Just follow along. You only spend money on the services and applications you use to market and promote your message while you are not around. Doing everything yourself? Then you pay either nothing or nominal fees. More on that later.

Now, I know all you newbies want to jump right in and get your Google Adwords account started and hire some freelancer to write 20 articles for you and set up your blog, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube accounts with pretty graphics, but HOLD ON! STOP! THINK!

We cannot talk about marketing costs without talking about the most effective forms of marketing per cost. The king of all internet marketing, of course, is Google AdWords. But unless you excel at keyword research and have separate domain names with focused targeted relevant content per adgroup, your cost per click will be too high costing you thousands more than you bring in.

Therefore, if you are just getting started, the most effective form of marketing for you, based on cost per lead is none other than attraction marketing with videos and articles, and videos embedded in your articles, such as with Hubpages and Squidoo. Then, of course, you will be posting tweets about your articles and videos in your Twitter account, updating your Facebook status with your videos, submitting press releases based on your articles and videos, and adding posts to your blog with both article and embedded videos, like the one you are watching now if you are at my Social Media Marketing Guide web site.

I know it sounds like a lot, but I think I owe you some honesty. If you do not have a lot of money to fund your Google AdWords campaign properly, which is at least $200 – $500 per day, then your first 3 months marketing your home based business will be spent generating at least 50 articles, 50 videos, 50 press releases, and building thousands of social media friends and following. Time, time, time, time.

Now we both know there is not a lot of time in the day. So there are going to be some things you MUST decide to outsource, and the remaining tasks you MUST create a system for with a daily action plan. Let’s take care of both right now by focusing first on the most effective of all the forms of attraction marketing I mentioned above, and that’s videos. Yes, YouTube is the king of all video submission sites, but there are a lot more, including some of your article submission sites and your blog site.

You need a single place to submit your video once and it will be sent to over 20 popular video submission sites, any blog site you own and register, lots of social bookmarking sites, and the fun one, having the audio portion automatically stripped and submitted to lots of podcast sites. The one place that does all this is Traffic Geyser. You will see a link to it in the blog article that contains this video as well as in the recommended resources section of my Social Media Marketing Guide web page. Their cost is $99 per month with a $1 first month trial period. Worth every penny!

Coolest part? They have a custom video player you can embed in your other pages, so prospects viewing your videos on your landing page won’t click away to your YouTube account before capturing their information. If you only had $100 per month to spend on marketing, then I would strongly suggest $99 of that go to Traffic Geyser. No kidding. I don’t even care if you do not use my affiliate link. Just get an account and thank me later for all the time you are saving and exposure you are getting.

Remember I talked about having a daily action plan? Try to follow along with this train of thought then tweak it to fit your needs.

Write the script to your video first.

Then film your video, making updates to your script as you tweak the wording.

Then submit your video to Traffic Geyser.

In the blog setup section, add the transcript, making sure you set links to some of the content (like your Twitter account, and linking every mention of your name to an About Me page).

Complete the video setup, making sure your video description is less than 250 characters to pass the rules of some of the other video submission sites.

After Traffic Geyser submits the video to YouTube (usually the first one to get it since the blog sites link to YouTube), edit the description and add lots more relevant content and keyword tags, since YouTube does not have a 250 character description limit.

Then take your video script, and tweak the wording to make a unique article, submitting it to many sites like EvanCarmichael, Hubpages, EzineArticles, Amazines, GoArticles, Squidoo, and so on, embedding your video wherever possible.

Then take the general content of your video script and turn it into a short press release, submitting it to WebWire, 24-7PressRelease, Free-Press-Release, PRWeb, PRLog, and so on.

You generally do not have to worry about posting it to Twitter or Facebook. When you submit the article form to Hubpages, they provide a couple buttons to have the article automatically post to both your Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Now, at this time, I would have also stated that you would go to Social Oomph and add a link to your blog post in their automated recurring tweet section, but just this past week, Twitter tightened the rules, and Social Oomph is no longer allowed to offer that feature because Twitter does not want duplicate tweets. But there is a way around that, just keep it between us for right now. Go to my Social Media Marketing Guide video series and watch the Enhanced Twitter Setup videos, especially the one where I talk about setting up your automated feeds using TwitterFeed and HootSuite (there are others out there as well).

I know I say in the video not to append any links to keep from spamming. That was just referring to your sales page. If your video and article content closely matches the general content of a feed source, then go ahead and append a shortened link to it using the method shown in the training video. Because of the new Twitter policy affecting Social Oomph, I will take some time this week and film an update to the training course showing how to do this. But don’t wait for me. Take action and figure it out and get ahead of the game. I know I am going to start looking for 5 more feed sites, that’s for sure.

Ok, let’s get back on track. You have a plan and you have an awesome video submission source that will soon be able to submit your article content as well. Not kidding. They’re expanding their service offerings as I speak. The only non-obvious piece to the puzzle is your own list account, like AWeber or ConstantContact. I prefer AWeber since it plugs right in to my main internet business system’s autoresponder campaigns, and I can use it as well for my real estate business. One account, many lists. Profiting in internet marketing comes when you both own a list and monetize it.

So to sum things up, if you add up Traffic Geyser, AWeber, web hosting, and your merchant account, you should be able to effectively run your business for under $200 per month outside your monthly business membership dues. I suggest you knock out the daily action plan as I described until you have 50 videos, 50 articles, and 50 press releases. At that time, you should be generating enough revenue to fund your Google AdWords campaigns. Then you will watch your business take off like crazy. I hope this information has been helpful to you. Take care and I look forward to meeting you at one of our events, like next month’s master marketing event in Las Vegas. I’ll be there and I hope to see you there as well.

Confused when to start a home based business? Think you do not deserve financial freedom because you are too old or too young? Think again!

Is it too late for you to start a home business? Too early? What exactly is the time you should focus on to start a home based business and become an entrepreneur and live the ideal that founded this great country?

The answer? Now, of course!

In fact, I would love for there to be a rule that required all politicians to run a business on the side so they can finally experience first hand how their policies affect the rest of us living the unsheltered life in real America.

It is time for you to start a home business when you are ready to work long hours over 3 to 6 months learning the most important skill you will ever need – marketing. In particular? Internet marketing. Even more specific? Personal branding and attraction marketing through social media then exploding your exposure through pay per click advertising.

Sound complicated? It really isn’t. For less than a semester in some community college on business, you only have to learn this one thing. It only seems complicated because it is new to you. Maybe computers and the internet are new for you as well. But does it matter? Are you really going to sit there reading this blog post, even if you are in your 70s, and think to yourself that you have nothing more to learn? That you can’t do this? That you don’t deserve this? Or that your opportunity to be financially independent has come and gone?

Bull! If you master internet marketing and you write your ticket to financial freedom. Let me repeat. You master internet marketing and you literally write your ticket to financial freedom. Now what is it worth to you to learn something new? Something you can actually see. Marketing anything to anyone anywhere in the world.

I know this seems like the fire hose treatment so take baby steps. Start with understanding simple internet marketing concepts by taking my free social media marketing course by going to TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com. This is just your first step on your path to truly mastering internet marketing. I say it is a first step because I cover in my course a small but necessary piece to the puzzle called personal branding.

You only have this one life. Never think for one single instant that when you "retire" from your job, you "retire" from learning new skills, or worse, that you "retire" from life. You are worth more to your community than you think. Prove it to yourself. After you go through my free Social Media Marketing Guide course, click on the "Work With Jasper" header link at the top of the page. Plug into the system and learn more about me, your coach, who will guide you every step of the way, but only if you are a person of action.

Every American should be running some sort of home based business. It’s time you started yours. And start it already positioned for success by taking the time to learn personal branding, social marketing, and other forms of internet marketing presented at my site. Cheers to your success.

Getting Google slapped will bar your domain name from AdWords, and will later delete your AdWords account completely. You can prevent this.

When’s the last time you were slapped? Didn’t feel good, did it? Ever been Google slapped? I guarantee a professional internet marketer would much rather be slapped for saying something stupid than getting Google slapped. Over the Summer months of 2009, the FCC has really cracked down on internet marketing by affiliate programs and business opportunities with mansions and sports cars on their replicated web sites and exorbitant income claims.

Instead of the FCC taking care of things themselves, they came down hard on Google, Yahoo, Bing, and all the mega advertisers to clean up their act. Now, even top 6-figure monthly earners I know are waking up in the morning, logging into their Google AdWords account, and finding all their ad campaigns dead in the water. These top dogs are being slapped, too.

Worse than that, the real pain behind being Google slapped, is that your domain is dead, so you have to create a new domain before starting your Adwords campaign again. And if you simply replace your old domain with a new one without making changes to your campaigns, keywords, and sales funnel content, then you get slapped again, and each time, the pain is worse. As repeat offenders have reported to me and my team, not only have their domain names been banned, but their entire Google AdWords account has been shut down. And if you want to start up a new one, you need to sign in from a different IP address (like a public library) and even use a different credit card for your new Google AdWords account. Ouch.

So, want to avoid the Google slap? Well, I can give you some sound advice, but since Google is changing their algorithms by the minute these days it seems, I’m going to limit this discussion to the biggest change that will definitely help you according to Google themselves. And that is Personal Branding.

That’s the first thing you need to do … brand yourself and not your product, service, or business opportunity. Focus on you as an entrepreneur. You can even focus further by sticking to a niche market. For instance, my niche market includes new and seasoned entrepreneurs needing a coach to get their business off the ground or would like to become a coach themselves to better support their clients and downline.

Time to put the big boy pants on and start marketing yourself. Put yourself out there. You cannot hide if you want to be a leader. Google rewards unique content, and there is nothing more unique than YOU, marketed properly.

Next, you need a hub, some location where "You, Inc." can flourish. It is where all your Google AdWords, Twitter, Facebook, articles, and videos point to. 9 times out of 10, that is a custom blog. CUSTOM BLOG. Remember, Google wants to see uniqueness, which also means web site design as well. Get a domain like YourName.com or MeetYourName.com then set it up as a WordPress blog by going to WordPress.org and following their installation and setup directions.

Some domain hosts like mine, StartLogic, has a convenient push button WordPress installation and setup to any folder in your domain right from their control panel. Take the time to set this up and get it out there. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

A video to your product, service, or business opportunity can easily be embedded directly in your hub page with a lead capture form, or links to a purchase page for a product. It’s really easy to do. After you watch this video, you can look at mine as an example. In my hub, TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com, you can click on the "Work With Jasper" header link and see how I embedded a video and signin form directly to my page.

Personally, I do not like embedding YouTube videos into my pages. YouTube embed code turns my video into a big link back to my YouTube account, and I don’t want anyone interested in my content clicking away from my web page. Do you? This is one of the reasons why I love Traffic Geyser. They provide a custom player for both normal and high definition aspect ratios. It looks more professional and contains no link-backs to anything. Nice.

Now you want to fill your hub page with articles and videos, content that shows you using your product or discussing benefits of a service, or general tips for entrepreneurs like goal setting, mindset, and marketing strategies. Remember, people buy from those they KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST. Marketing your personally branded hub page is the key to keeping your Google AdWords account running smoothly day in and day out, attracting prospects to your story, your message.

One more thing, there is not a single top earner on the internet NOT heavily involved in personal branding. Google is changing. Internet marketing is evolving. Be impervious to this change by effective branding. For more information about personal branding using social media marketing, go to TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com. Happy marketing.

Article content is important, but if you do not take the time to conduct proper keyword research, nobody will be able to find it.

I have a question for you. Are you getting quality traffic to your articles? If your article has some stellar content but you do not take the time to make it keyword rich, who is going to find it?

When most people hear the term keywords, the first thing they think of is pay-per-click advertising or old pre-web 2.0 use of meta tags. But since Google started scanning web site content for relevancy, keywords within the web page itself has become critical for successful ranking in search results. For video marketing, keywords are necessary for the description, tags, and header or title.

For article marketing, keyword research is necessary for both title and content. The title must contain your entire targeted long tail keyword, a grouping of 3 or more words that are popular, but are not over saturated and over competitive. A long tail keyword that has less than 300,000 page results in a Google search is ideal. Now that’s for unquoted. When you surround your keyword with quotes, the search results need to be less than 50,000 to give you a good shot at top placement based on your content.

For example, the keyword "home business", even surrounded by quotes, is over saturated with 16 million search results making it very difficult to get your article in the first page of Google search results, let alone the first hundred. Now try the long tail keyword "building a home based business on a budget" and surround it with quotes. Now you are only dealing with 18,000 search results, which is a lot less competitive.

Another suggestion for your title is to break it up into what the search engine likes to see and what the human eye likes to see. If you prefix the example long tail keyword with "5 Keys to" or "3 Tips on", you will capture the reader’s attention. Pair reader friendly and search engine friendly phrases together and you will have a title that is both searchable and clickable. For example, putting them together and you get something like "3 Tips on Building a Home Based Business on a Budget". Get the idea?

Now within your article, the entire long-tail keyword should appear 2 – 5 times, and especially once in the opening paragraph. Search engines eat this stuff up. Don’t go too nuts by making the keywords seemed forced in your article. Confusing your prospects is not desirable.

Where to go for research? You can use Google’s free keyword tool within your AdWords account. You can use Wordtracker’s free keyword tool at freekeywords.wordtracker.com. Or just type in "free keyword research tool" in your favorite search engine and pick one. Remember, you want a long-tail keyword that has been entered in the search engines a lot in the past month but it’s quoted entry in the search engines return less than 50,000 page references.

Making your articles searchable will expose a lot more prospects to your message. No go do your keyword research before submitting your next article. You can learn more about article marketing by watching Video 3 Phase 2 in my free social media marketing course at TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com.

What are the limitations to running a home based business if the desire is to market internationally? This video discusses not just internet marketing, but also what to look for in a business system.

So recently, I have been approached through Twitter DMs, Facebook messages, and even some Skype messaging from international entrepreneur minded people, wondering if personal branding and social marketing is relevant to them. If this sounds like you, or if you are an American involved in an international business system like mine, then pay attention.

The simple answer is yes. Personal branding and social media marketing are simply strategies based on attraction marketing as opposed to prospecting, like in classified ads and direct mail. If also referring to attraction marketing as a core strategy, then we can ad pay-per-click as well, since the ads are keyword dependent and act in a way that pulls prospects to your message as they see your ad copy as matching their desired search terms. In short, this entire form of marketing is borderless.

Anyone can create a Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube account and post messages that establish your credibility in your market and develop relationships with your prospects and like minded entrepreneurs. Anyone can create a WordPress blog-like hub page that contains all your value-added content and custom landing pages less susceptible to a Google slap. Anyone can write keyword rich articles, produce relevant videos and publish them on media submission sites.

What I am trying to say is that attraction marketing itself is not the issue when talking about marketing internationally. The main issues are with:

the business system,

product delivery system, and

methods of communication.

Method of communication is the easiest to address since Skype is free to sign up and free to communicate around the world with other Skype users. I would suspect that any international entrepreneur doing business in America has a Skype account. Over 90% of all my international team members already had a Skype account before joining my team.

I am only bringing up product delivery system in the case of physical products that must be shipped. That may cause a problem with unforeseen costs, return hassles, and possible export regulations depending on the product. If you are serious about marketing products to international customers, then I strongly suggest that you stick to electronic media, where after purchase, your customer receives a secure link to download an eBook or course or some software.

As far as a business system goes, many of them are even created and managed from different countries. Most Multi-Level Marketing or MLM business structures offer an electronic media of some sort as a product to stay legal and operate just fine as long as anyone can use PayPal or a standard merchant account. Similarly, internet direct sales businesses, such as my main business model, offer a mixture of both electronic and physical media, so the customer has an electronic copy right away while awaiting the shipment of their purchase.

In my case, my customers receive complete access to their back office and pages containing all the information in their physical product, so they can review everything while awaiting their shipment. I personally prefer this type of process since the customer really feels cared for by the simple receipt of a physical package instead of a simple eBook.

The only drawback to supporting international customers is with marketing events or gatherings. If your business is not mature enough to offer such events, then I suggest you create virtual events that you can host where everyone is in front of a webcam. Seeing and talking with each other is a great way to mastermind and will absolutely catapult your business.

My business, for instance, holds 2 Master Marketing events annually in different locations within the United States and a special annual elite marketing event at an international location, the last elite marketing event was held earlier this Summer in the Dominican Republic with the one last year in Paris. Back to the US based Master Marketer events, we had one earlier this year in Lake Tahoe. And on November 15th, I will be flying out to Las Vegas for a week of both financial and internet marketing education and networking with other entrepreneurs. Want to join me?

This is not a flippant question. If you are serious about marketing internationally then you need a business that is set up to handle it. We have members in 162 countries. What other internet direct sales business can say that? My 2nd of many team members is from Australia and I just got off the phone with an applicant in Mexico. International? You bet. We take our business seriously with only high 5-figure and 6-figure monthly earners teaching our more than 20 weekly training calls and webinars.

We hold 2 master marketing events throughout the United States and 1 international elite marketing event every year. We even have a major 6-figure monthly earner holding a 15 minute wake-up call at 10:30am eastern time every morning with fresh leadership perspectives to get you started on the right track first thing in the morning or whatever time of the day it is for you. Who else is taking your success seriously?

If you are serious about running an internet based home business that is truly international, then go to my website, TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com, click on the "Work with Jasper" link in the header bar at the top of the page, watch the video, read about me and my business, then plug into the system by simply entering your name and email address. This is your ticket to a much better life where you can actually positively impact the lives of so many people here in the United States and all across the world. I’ll see you on the other side.

This video explains the importance of retention pertaining to prospects becoming exposed to your message. Understanding how your leads process data, you will use internet marketing more effectively.

This is an important message about retention. Understanding how we retain information will help you be more effective in your marketing strategies.

It makes no sense for you to keep watching training webinars and attending daily or weekly training calls if you keep forgetting what was shown or said. You will never get your business off the ground if you do not put the training from your team into action. Anything less and I guarantee that within a month, you will be suffering from paralysis by analysis, getting stuck attending all the training calls and webinars but not actually doing anything. Soon, attending such training does not remain an income producing activity because you don’t put the training to action, and you end up quitting your internet business or stop marketing your affiliate program.

Let me give you some quick numbers. As people, we retain only

10% of what we read,

20% of what we hear,

30% of what we see,

50% of what we hear and see,

70% of what we say, and

90% of what we say and do.

Wow! 90% retention by both saying and doing. That’s awesome! Now what does this mean? It means the next time you are on a training call or webinar from your business system (or play an archive recording from your back office), take notes on 1 or 2 things related to a specific topic you can take action on. Go DO it! Then record a video about it and SAY it! Do … and … say. I guarantee that the little piece of effective marketing you applied is now learned and can be tweaked for more effectiveness and taught to your team or downline as you become a leader and authority in your market.

How do you think my main internet business and real estate investing business started booming over the Summer? In May, I started doing the techniques I outlined in my free Social Media Marketing Guide course then in August, I created a bunch of video tutorials and taught what worked for me. I took action then I taught, further retaining what I learned. All I do now is tweak what works to make it better and what doesn’t work to get it producing good results. Even in my real estate business, I teach a monthly class on short sale negotiating. Now it’s your turn to go do something constructive for your business.

For more helpful internet marketing tips and techniques including social media marketing, attraction marketing, and personal branding, go to TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com. See you there.

Last weekend, I received an email from my buddy, Sean Malarkey who’s the author of the “Twixplode” ebook that I reference in my course.

He sheds light on some phishing scams some of his friends were experiencing in which their Twitter accounts started sending out lots of spam tweets. For those who don’t know, phishing (with a “P-H”) is the cyber form of fishing (with an “F”) where a cyber punk sends out bait in the form of an email with some clever sales copy or message. It’s hook is a link, that upon clicking, performs an action that involves taking information from your computer such as identity information, email contact list, and so on.

In the case of this specific Twitter phishing scam, the email simply says something like “Hey, is this you in this video?” The link sends you to what looks like a Twitter sign-in page. If you enter your username and password, then they have instant access to your Twitter account and start immediately sending out tweets with links to their products, some of it inappropriate for kids. Very soon, your account will be blocked by so many Twitter users that the Twitter staff will be forced to review your account.

Now the punks that are responsible don’t care if Twitter shuts down your account for spamming. They just move on to the next gullible person. So how do you fix the problem if you suspect someone is sending spam messages from your account? Easy fix. Go to your Settings tab or even your “lost password” link on your sign in page and change your password immediately.

You don’t want to start getting blocked by other Tweeple because of your spamming and end up banned by Twitter. This is another reason why you need to perform minimal daily maintenance on your Twitter account as outlined in Video 6, Phase 4, of my free social media course.

Be safe out there marketing, boys and girls.

http://TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com is the free training web site that I created after listening to the 1st in a series of 5 video marketing training calls by Michael Koenigs, co-founder of Traffic Geyser. By the 5th call, he singles me out!

The Social Media Marketing Guide is a free and comprehensive course on effective internet marketing through personal branding. It features a 28 page slide presentation with active links for assistance and clarity, along with eight (8) instructional videos detailing each step with examples.

The author is internet marketing coach, Jasper Silvis, who was recently praised for his quick action in generating this site in just under 2 weeks after learning of this idea to promote personal leadership and authority by Michael Koenigs, co-founder of Traffic Geyser, the leading video mass submission site and video marketing training hub.

Michael Koenigs coaches Tony Robbins, Paula Abdul, Frank Kern, Debbie Ford, Eben Pagan, Jorge Cruise, and many other celebrities and multi-millionaires on effective attraction marketing and personal branding through video marketing strategies.

Recently, Mike honored my principle internet business company with a series of 5 weekly training calls, each just over an hour long, focusing on video marketing and his 10x10x4 market domination model. Between the first and fourth training call, I sent him an email (among 100s of others on tha calls) briefly outlining the action I took since the 1st training call and how his ideas focused my mind on the things I needed to do to grow my business more effectively and in a unique manner, creating a free training site as my hub instead of a blog like everyone else. I also did some extra stuff and expressed to Mike some of the future plans I had in mind.

I had no idea he would actually read the email, since he was on a plane to meet with Tony Robbins right after the 4th training call and I am just a fairly successful internet marketer right now (I am making decent money, but not want Mike Koenigs is making by far … yet

So the 5th and final training call, in which you are about to hear 6 minutes of, Mike decides to take time out (with over 400 people on the call worldwide and recorded for our entire community to hear in our back office) and mention someone out of all the people who contacted him that took action — ME!

Check it out. Thanks, Mike! I will see you at our M2 Master Marketer event in Las Vegas in November. I am already registered, baby!

http://TheSocialMediaMarketingGuide.com – What daily massive action are you taking to seriously grow your business online. Internet marketing is not plug and play anymore. It take personal branding, attention to keywords, and a focus on daily action.

Hi, it’s Jasper Silvis, author of The Social Media Marketing Guide and I have a quick question for you. What are you doing or planning on doing today that is going to grow your business? Is your business important to you or is it just a hobby?

It’s after 12am right now on a Wednesday evening and I have been working since 9:30. Did my 9 to 5, picked up my boys from daycare, made dinner since my wife was working late tonight, played superhero fight with my boys of course, cleaned up a little with my wife, got the kids ready for bed, took the contacts out, enjoyed a conversation with my wife, then trekked into my sanctuary here and started working.

Look, most people working a home business are still employed. If that’s you then pay attention. I’m still working for an aerospace defense company writing software and I don’t plan on leaving my team there until I get a few more projects completed. So this is what I have to do to be successful in my different businesses. I generally work from 10pm until 2am on income producing activities, sleep until 6am then start the day over.

I can’t work my internet businesses during lunch because I work my real estate investing business during that time, following up with lenders, home owners, realtors, buyers …. you get the idea. I am also using that time to make coaching calls to my various team members in my real estate and internet businesses. I also teach a self defense class twice a week during lunch.

So my golden window of opportunity to be effective marketing my internet home based businesses online is between the hours of 10pm and 2am. And this 4 hour window is consistent 7 days a week. It has to be. I make a great income when I work on my business, tweaking my pay per click accounts, writing articles, producing videos, attending to my social media accounts, optimizing my web pages, analyzing my lead sources, answering questions from my team members, providing them with support, and on and on.

This is the income producing activity that needs to be done to build a successful online home based business within months. My goals are too important for me to treat this as a hobby. How about you?

So if you are running an internet home based business and are still employed and are not making over 20 grand per month, then I want to know what your daily window of action is. Do you have one? If not, why the heck not? If you do, then how long is it?

And please, I don’t want to hear anything about how your business is soooo automated that you only need to spend 1 hour a day on it. Please. Google is constantly changing its rules and are now actively going after affiliate programs slapping them like crazy so don’t tell me you are making any money working 1 hour per day.

Figure out right now if your business is a real business or a hobby. If it is a business, and you need it to provide you with a better lifestyle than you are living right now, then it is worth your time to generate daily action plans and follow through on them.

I just got my HubSpot web site grader report on a few of my pages so tonight I am going to optimize them to get my search rankings up. I am also finishing up some ads for my international ad sites that pull the best. I was adding videos to them when I decided to take a break and film this video.

I will then finish up my evening answering team questions and responding to my DMs in Twitter and do some Facebook stuff. Before I crash for the night, I will write up my action plan for tomorrow. I have some offline marketing I need to tweak so I will be doing that tomorrow along with some scripts for new videos and outlines for new articles.

Hey look, I’ll be honest. I love being a coach. I love it when my team members reach their first $5,000 or $10,000 month. That’s just as exciting for me as it is for them. But I have to tell you, and I know you are out there watching this video, what I don’t like is when someone asks for help, you listen to their issues and give them simple action steps, you follow up with them a week later, and they haven’t done a thing.

Everyone has boo-hoo and whoa-is-me stories. I have them too, but if you want me or your coach or sponsor to keep providing you with support and mentorship, then you need to get off your butt and act. Action is the only thing that decides your level of success.

Not your business system, not your product (every product has a niche market), not your sponsor if he’s ignoring you. No one is responsible for your success but you. Now create your daily action plan and get to work.
